JAM gives the citizens of the UK the opportunity to be involved with or contribute toward community driven projects designed to empower Africa, strengthening its position as a contributor toward the Global economy

Here at JAMUK, our mandate is to Help Africa Help Itself by raising awareness of JAM and its programmes, ultimately raising the funds needed to carry out the operations that make JAM’s programmes in our beneficiary countries possible. We reach out to people from all walks of life, offering them opportunities to satisfy their inner humanitarian, whether it be educating them on ways to take ownership of their own fundraising projects or simply providing them with a credible channel to implement their financial contributions.

A Meal 4 a Meal

We have always been very involved in humanitarian work but the time constraints after having our own children  and starting out with our own business has meant that we were not as involved as before. Inspired by TOM shoes we realised we can combine our business and our heart for the children of Africa, we just need to find the right partner to join hands with. We started sharing our vision with people and looked actively at different charities. A friend told us about JAM, and almost straight away we knew that this was a match made in heaven! We are amazed by the founder- Peter's story and  really touched by the little boy - Matthews's story who's life was saved by receiving his meals through JAM. Above all, JAM not only provides the meals but also wants to help Africa help it self through their other projects. Most of all we were looking for a 'partner ' that will genuinely give a meal for a child, someone who can tell us this is how much it costs , this is how much we need so that we can be transparent in our giving too. The Red bowl is such a wonderful clear way of making giving more tangible. This fits really well with our initiative to give A Meal 4 A Meal, and with JAM we know that this will truly happening.
