JAM in Action - Video

Feature Articles

Social Welfare beneficiaries include:

  • Health – Care recipients

  • Social Welfare patients

  • Children infected or affected by HIV/AIDS

Social Welfare Beneficiary Selection:

  • In the selection of beneficiaries, JAM relies primarily on information supplied by the Department of Social Welfare, the Department of Health and the Department of Education in our targeted provinces.

  • This information has to reflect those most in need and their location. JAM then investigates which schools, hospitals, clinics and orphanages are willing and capable of co-operating with food distribution programs.

  • Upon receipt of their request for assistance, JAM conducts a full evaluation of their facility and capacity. This is, in effect, a joint venture between JAM and the relevant Government departments.

  • Our HIV/AIDS feeding is in essence an extension to our program. It is not a new search for children infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. We do not just do supplementary feeding for the children suffering from AIDS; we augment with extra food to ensure that we provide their full-required daily allowance

JAM is fully inclusive to our beneficiaries, regardless of race, religion, gender or political persuasion
