A
child dies every 8 seconds...
There can truly be no greater gift then the gift of
providing for a child in need. Unfortunately the reality is
that thousands of children in the Sudan (where this picture
was taken) are suffering from malnutrition and many die each
day.
These children die a quiet and unspoken death. They become
just another statistic in a United Nations report and many
of us never know about the pain and suffering their families
face. A child dies every 8 seconds. The untold story
of these statistics is that for every child that dies, a
grieving family is left behind, with very little time to
mourn as they fight for their own lives.
JAM is working in the Sudan and many other African countries
to reverse these statistics, one child at a time, 8 seconds
at a time. We cannot do this without your partnership. We
have the people on the ground and the infrastructure
established but we need your support to purchase and
distribute the much needed supplies.
Please partner with us in Helping Africa Help Itself.
There is truly no greater gift than to see the smile on a
child's face as you provide for his/her need. Your gift
enables us to extend your hands to the hurting children of
Sudan and all over Africa.
